Lupita and Franco – when Latino vibes meets Amore in Italy

It all began with a small email inquiry about a wedding on the beautiful Isola del Garda in my inbox. Soon, Lupita and I were chatting over WhatsApp and scheduled our first Zoom call just before Lupita and Franco left for a two-week festival followed by a vacation in Costa Rica.

Through the time zones, I managed to reach them just before their departure from their home in Mexico, and it was love at first sight. Lupita enchanted me with her views and her incredibly loving and bubbly personality.

And so it happened that these two wonderful people brought me to Lake Garda for their dream wedding in July 2024, where our worlds from opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean met.

Lupita and Franco chose a church wedding in the beautiful town of Torri del Benaco on Lake Garda for the first day. We met like a blind date about 30 minutes before the ceremony began and used the time to chat and stroll through the alleys.

Lupita was a true vision in her dress from the Australian brand Corston Couture, making a real statement. As a fashion designer herself, this was, of course, a very significant and important factor. In every movement and detail, you could see her love for design and fashion.

And overshadowing everything else was her love for Franco, which was unmistakable and shone through the entire day.

Following the main event on July 4, 2024, Lupita and Franco’s grand wedding on Isola del Garda and the subsequent party at Torre San Marco.

The Getting Ready was spontaneously transformed into something more than just the classic preparation of bride and groom separately. We savored a delightful drink and engaging conversation with Franco until our stunning bride Lupita arrived. Then, we whisked them away to their suite for the final touches. There, they shared a few precious, intimate moments together, fully immersing themselves in the breathtaking view of Lake Garda, surrounded by the enchanting Italian ambiance of this extraordinary hotel.

And then, in true style, we set off by boat to Isola del Garda, the largest island in Lake Garda, privately owned and steeped in history. This enchanting island boasts a Venetian palace that once served as a monastery, making it an extraordinary wedding venue.

The breathtaking boat ride offered not only an incredible view of Isola del Garda but also a sense of true relaxation. Anyone who has ever ridden a motorboat across a lake or sea knows the immense joy it brings. And what could be more beautiful than starting your wedding day in such a splendid manner?

The ceremony took place on the loggia of the Palazzo on Isola del Garda and was officiated by a close friend of the couple. Surrounded by their dearest friends and family, the ceremony was made even more special by heartfelt words shared by loved ones. Lupita and Franco exchanged their personal vows, with Lupita’s mother tenderly holding her hand in a beautiful show of emotional support. The vibrant joy and love were palpable, and Lupita radiated an incredible zest for life in her Berta wedding dress, a joy that was absolutely contagious.

Immediately after the ceremony, the guests were led into the gardens for a champagne reception.

During this time, we had just a few precious minutes to capture Lupita and Franco’s love. In those fleeting moments, the magic between them was evident in every frame. We literally had 10 minutes, and each second was utterly enchanting. Lupita and Franco needed no elaborate directions or posing.

When I first spoke to Lupita, she described the overwhelming feeling that her fiancé was truly HER Franco. Those words have stayed with me ever since, and we could all feel them in the moments after the ceremony. An incredible joy, a deep love, and an aura that was utterly captivating.

The cocktail hour was marked by beautiful moments of friendship and love, with heartfelt embraces all around. We couldn’t resist a drone flight over the stunning Isola del Garda to capture the wonderful atmosphere and scenery of this sunlit, love-filled afternoon.

After a wonderful afternoon on Isola del Garda, it was time to return to the boat, which we first accompanied with the drone as Lupita and Franco enjoyed the thrill of full speed.

Next, we headed to the couple’s chosen venue for their wedding celebration – Torre San Marco. And I would do it exactly the same way! Transfer times, which can often be stressful, were pure relaxation here. My insider tip: Book boat rides for your wedding day and destination wedding on Lake Garda – there’s nothing more relaxing! This brief respite with fresh wind, stunning views, and the thrill of speed over the water in the arms of your beloved – an unforgettable moment.

Upon arriving at Torre San Marco, a stunning dinner setting awaited the newlyweds. Their wedding planner, Valbona from Wedding Box Lake Garda, had prepared a beautifully decorated reception with delicious drinks for all the guests and the bridal couple.

Surrounded by lush greenery, the waters of Lake Garda, and an Italian ambiance, with a few Aperol Spritz in hand, the guests had a wonderful time relaxing and settling in. Meanwhile, Lupita changed from her dreamy Berta gown into her second wedding dress by Corston Couture, making another breathtaking entrance. She and Franco were once again warmly welcomed by their loved ones, followed by a heartfelt speech from Franco’s brother, which moved not only the newlyweds but many guests to tears.

The dinner was punctuated with fiery and affectionate speeches, loving words, and toasts dedicated to the couple.

Just before the wedding cake and dessert were served, we stole away with Lupita and Franco for another 10 minutes, capturing intimate photos in a flash-look style.

Upon our return, we were greeted by the sight of the wedding cake and dessert, ready to be enjoyed.

Lupita could hardly wait for the party to begin, and as she cut the cake, she enthusiastically called everyone to join her on the dance floor.

The guests did have a bit of time to savor the cake, but soon, no one could resist the urge to move and dance any longer.

Lupita opened the dance floor with her father, followed by Franco with his mother. Both couples were surprised by their respective families, who joined them in a heartfelt embrace in the center of the floor.

Finally, Lupita and Franco dazzled everyone with a breathtaking first dance, full of passion and emotion.

No one could hold back any longer; the Latinos’ spirit truly came alive as the dance floor was stormed, and I believe they are still dancing today, filled with love and joy.
